According to the 2004 Donor Approval Poll conducted by Campbell Research, Inc., Habitat for Humanity was named among the top five Christian ministries considered by donors to be “doing the best job.”

"It is through donor support that the dream of a decent, affordable home has become a reality for hundreds of thousands of people across the world," said Millard Fuller, founder and president of Habitat for Humanity International.

"We take seriously our stewardship of financial contributions to the ministry and are humbled by how the Lord has multiplied these resources for our global work."

Other groups on the top five list were: Focus on the Family, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Campus Crusade for Christ and Samaritan's Purse.

The 2004 Donor Approval Award Poll surveyed more than 630 contributors to Christian organizations on February. Campbell Research has been conducting such polls since 1990.
