Game developer 343 Industries has announced a highly-anticipated open Xbox One Beta testing for popular video game Halo 5: Guardians.

But before the game's official release date on October 27, 2015, the gaming gods at 343 Industries have released a new trailer for the Halo 5: Guardian's multiplayer modes. The multiplayer modes provide early hints on "Warzone, massive 24-player battles, and Arena, pure 4-vs-4 competitive combat" (via YouTube).

The new trailer, which runs less than two minutes, is expected to provide Microsoft gamers, particularly Xbox game console users, something to get excited for the next installment of the video game franchise. Halo 5: Guardians promises unique and huge multiplayer modes that are sure to attract and hold players when it is released.

Microsoft Accidentally Updates Halo 5: Guardians Beta Testing App

During last week's Gamescom, Microsoft has accidentally updated the beta testing app for Halo 5: Guardians the tech giant released last year. Most gamers who downloaded the beta testing app have deleted it after the expiration of the testing.

But a report by Cheat Sheet said that those who kept the app were given a peek at things to come in Halo 5 as Microsoft has updated the app by mistake last week. The update in the beta testing app includes menus for the new Halo 5 multiplayer mode Warzone, as well as soundtracks for the upcoming game.

Microsoft has issued a statement following the accidental leak, "It's unfortunate when work-in-progress content leaks, but this Halo 5: Guardians content is part of our ongoing private, external testing for multiplayer. We will continue to rigorously test Halo 5: Guardians to ensure the best possible experience for fans at launch."

Meanwhile, TechnoBuffalo has reported that Halo 5: Guardians received a "T for Teen" rating by the ESRB, which is the least "mature" rating for any of the games in the series.

The ESRB said in its rating Halo 5: Guardians with "T for Teen", "This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a super soldier (Locke) searching for a missing character. Players use pistols, machine guns, grenade launchers, and futuristic weapons to kill alien and human enemies in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and occasional blood-splatter effects. Characters can also use "assassinations" to kill characters by snapping their necks, or by stabbing them with bladed weapons. The word "a*s" appears in the dialogue, as well as occasional taunts/insults (e.g., 'I have copulated...with your genetic progenitors!'; 'Your father was a filthy colo and your mother was a hole in the wall!').
