The largest global Chinese prayer conference is to be held in Hong Kong later this month, over 1,200 Chinese from mainly Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan will attend.

Running from May 29 to June 1, the prayer conference will be held at the Wu Kai Sha Youth Village in New Territories. The theme is set to be "Prepare the Path for the Lord of Glory." Founded by the pastor of Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations Rev. Tom Hess, the prayer conference has the vision to unite all Chinese Christians around the world to pray for the revival of Israel, the Christian Church and the world at the end of times.

The first prayer conference of such kind was held in Hong Kong last year and 800 people from Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan came. The total number of attendance is expected to rise up to 1,000 this year. The conference has provided an opportunity for Christians in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan to unite together. 200 people from Mainland China came last year and the number will be doubled this time.

Apart from praying for Israel, the participants are urged to pray for the future of Chinese churches worldwide and their unity. They will also put special focus on the church in Mainland China. There will be a presentation about the development of the church in Mainland China nowadays as well as the revival of rural and urban churches.

Church ministers, pastors, missionaries and prayer intercessors are highly encouraged to join the conference. Both English and Mandarin will be used for the event.

The Convenors of the prayer conference includes the Hong Kong director and China Region chairman of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International, Elder Hugo Chan; head pastor of the Taipei Bread of Life Church, Rev Nathaniel Chow and head pastor of Hong Kong Revival Church Rev Dennis Balcombe.
