Much speculation has been going around on what will transpire on the American web television series that capitalizes on political drama. The producers of House of Cards obviously want the season 4 storylines to remain under wraps, but that won't stop intrepid insiders from leaking spoilers of what they do know. This includes a plot that aims to resemble the real life political drama that will be unfolding in the 2016 elections, Enstarz reports.

One of the most talked about spoilers is the rumors of what will become of Claire (Robin Wright) and Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) marriage ever since last season's finale saw Frank's better half walking out on him and vowing to never take another look-back. There's  a strong current that is spreading talk that this estranged couple will end up fighting each other out in the political arena as rivals. This can't be good as high-profile competition between couples has never been an ingredient for romance. Or can it?

Even without Claire, there's a lot to speculate on Frank's own personal struggles alone. For one thing, Frank has no time to mull over his troubled marriage. He has to deal with hostility from his solicitor general and all of Russia. Will he survive this impending disaster?

Other interesting tidbits about the House of Cards encroach on the impending and rumored death of Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) - Frank's aide and closest ally. What will be more interesting to see is how Doug ends up getting murdered by Frank himself, Christian Today reports.

Recently, Kelly told the Los Angeles Times, that he has grown fond of the character and that this is the last thing that he wants to happen, Enstarz further adds. Of the character, he says: "This is the greatest job I've ever had, Doug Stamper is the greatest gift I have ever been given as an actor. I love playing him, I love going to work every day, here we are in season 4 and I love going to work just as much as I did the first day of season 1 and that says a lot."
