Many tech enthusiasts complain that HTC One M9 smartphone lacks innovative design and very similar to to its predecessor, the One M8. With the upcoming release of M10, HTC hopes to lure back their avid customers. Now, here's the latest round up of update about HTC M10, which also called HTC Perfume.

There's been a lot of speculation about the name of the HTC One M10. Given the sub-par performance of the M9, perhaps HTC wants to rebrand the next model. Some online reports say the upcoming smartphone will be codenamed Perfume, but will be sold as the HTC One M10.

HTC company has not yet announced the price of M10. But estimates show it could be priced as a high-end flagship device, so US$700 initial price seems probable.

HTC One M10 specs

Venture Beat published some interesting information about the specifications of HTC M10. The tech website said device will be powered with Snapdragon 820 processor, partnered with 4 GB of RAM. Tech experts say these features will help the device to process multiple apps and avoid lags.

Additionally, M10 users will have a concert-like listening experience, thanks to BoomSound speakers and mini subwoofer.

HTC One M10 Camera

In this age of selfies, phone manufacturers are racing to develop the most advanced camera technology. Most of today's smartphones use megapixels in their camera, but the HTC M10  will be equipped with Ultra Pixel technology. The next-generation HTC M is  rumored to have 12-UltraPixel main snapper and  4-UltraPixel  front camera.

In addition, its camera will boast awesome features like Laser Autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization and like Sapphire Lens Cover.

HTC One M10 design

By looking at HTC M10's leaked image from Evan Blas, it seems that HTC is sticking to its iPhone guns for the One M10 design. Moreover, the device will have sharper edges than the HTC One M9. For display features, rumors said the device will sport a a 5.1-inch QHD AMOLED unit.

According to PC Advisor, The phone will available in the US on May 9 and April 11 on London. HTC is now ramping up its marketing machine to introduce the M10. We previously reported the #powerof10 teaser that will definitely intensify the buyer's expectation.

As for curious fans who want to know if M10 will be compatible with HTC Vive, HTC has not yet revealed any details. However, some tech experts say the company could make the phone compatible to HTC Vive.
