Going into Week 16, Chiefs is ranked 2nd in AFC West. Last year, they were going 2-11, but now quarterback Alex Smith has led his team to 11-3 so far this season. Smith has put down 23 touchdowns at 3,160 pass yards and 1 touchdown at 384 rush yards, and running back Jamaal Charles have put down 11 touchdowns at 1,181 rush yards.

Chiefs is ranked 3rd in points scored per game (28.5), 17th in yards (341.2) and 11th in rush yards (125.6). Their defense has dropped from being the top to the 4th spot at 18.2 points.

The Colts is ranked first in AFC South. Although their overall offense is ranked at 22nd places in the league, quarterback Andrew Luck has led the team with 22 touchdowns at 3,299 yards and running back Donald Brown has four touchdowns at 427 yards.

According to their offensive and defensive comparison stats, the Chiefs appears to have an edge in both offense and defense. The odds are that the Chiefs will emerge as the winner.
