Since October last year, hacking groups haven't yet released a major jailbreak tool for iOS devices. Chinese hacking team Pangu released jailbreak software last month for Apple devices under iOS 9.1, but it is only an incremental update. Now, here's the latest news about iOs 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 Jailbreaks for iPhones and iPads.  

Pangu released their iOS 9.1 jailbreak tool last month, almost five months after the group introduced the jailbreak for iOS 9.0.1. Forbes and other tech websites claim the group will release jailbreak tool for the latest operating system of Apple, the iOs 9.3. The new firmware has an array of innovative features like Night Shift, 3D Touch shortcuts, and enhanced Notes app.

Furthermore, the iOS 9.3 is the biggest update since iOS 9 itself launched.  Considering that iOs 9.1 was jailbroken, perhaps it is just a matter of time before hacking groups successfully crack the iOS 9.3. On other hand, there are rumors that say the operating system won't be jailbroken until iOS 10 comes out.

As of now, Apple fans are still waiting for the tools from international jailbreak teams Pangu and TaiG. These groups usually stay quiet before releasing a new tool, so let's wait for more updates.  

Jailbreaking is the process of negating the manufacturer's predetermined settings in the smartphone or tablet to have more control over a device. In the case of Apple, jailbreaking removes the restrictions imposed by the iOs so that users can download and install the previously unavailable apps on their devices. However, Apple discourages this practice. The tech company says jailbreaking compromises user's security, and it could cause problems in the software.

In this moment, nobody knows the release date of jailbreak tools for iOS 9.3 or 9.3.1. For iPhone users under iOS 9.2.1, they are advised not to install the latest update and just wait until the next jailbreak is released publicly. Luckily, for users who accidentally upgraded to iOS 9.3/9.3.1, they are allowed to downgrade back.

It is also worth mentioning that there's no functional jailbreak tool available for iOS 9.2-9.3 as of now. There are a lot of fake tools out there, but more than like they are viruses or harmful hacking programs that can steal user's information.

Interestingly, the demand for jailbreak is increasing, so hacking groups might release their codes very soon.
