For those who are into jailbreaking, then you know what it is like to have Apple's own restrictions imposed by their closed system of their iOS removed, and can enjoy root access to the iOS file system and manager for downloading applications and other software not available on the App Store.  This is probably a good time to make the disclaimer that you should know what you are doing before you jailbreak your Apple device, and there is good news if you are trying to jailbreak a device with version iOS 9.1 as we will provide step-by-step instructions.  For those that are on iOS 9.2 and the soon-to-be released iOS 9.3, you are out of luck, at least for now. 

According to N4BB, Pangu has released a new iOS 9.1 jailbreak ahead of the iOS 9.3 public release that is going to happen next week.  For those who want to do that, head over to the Pangu site and download the jailbreaking tool for Windows and Mac.  A recent report from iDownloadBlog has stated that there is an update available to bring some stability to the process, as some who attempted the jailbreak were met with some problems like a "boot loop". 

The release of the jailbreaking tool for iOS 9.1 is welcome news for the jailbreaking community, as the highest that they were able to jailbreak was iOS 9.0.2.  So, will there be a jailbreaking for iOS 9.2?  Well, the answer to that is...probably not. 

After all, the latest version is iOS 9.2.1, which means that if you are using iOS 9.0 or 9.1, which have been jailbroken, you would have to get iOS 9.2.1, as there is no downgrade to iOS 9.2 once you have gone that far. 

It should be known that there are a lot of fake iOS 9.2 jailbreak tools floating around on the Internet, so do not fall for any of them.  It is possible that a jailbreaking 9.2.1 version could show up at some point in time, but this is also pretty doubtful. 

As far as the jailbreak for iOS 9.3, that could be around the corner.  We have reported several times how Luca Tedesco has shown off a working jailbreak of iOS 9.3, and it has been confirmed by tweets by a user @enMTW.  This claim doesn't have any screenshots or videos, just pictures of Twitter online with the Cydia icon on his homescreen.  Tudesco has a video of his jailbroken iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3 beta 1, and looks legit enough, but there have already been reports saying that he doesn't intend to share it. 

It is probably safe to say that once iOS 9.3 shows up that the jailbreak for it should arrive, with an emphasis on "should".
