Chinese programming team Pangu has just perfected the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak, an upgrade of the recently launched 9.3.2, 9.3 and 9.2 to combat Apple's attempts to block off the jailbreaking tool. It was initially released back in May 2016 but a current update has been set up to accommodate more devices and to override the iOS 10 version.

iOS 9.3.3 is now available for the following devices:

- iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, 6 and 6 Plus, 5s, and SE

- iPad Pro

- iPad Mini 2, 3 and 4

- iPad Air 1 and 2

- iPod Touch 6

The new update is not available for iPhone 5, 5c, 4s, and 32-bit iPad and iPod devices. However, a similar jailbreaking tool is available for these devices which users have to run on an app, and which resets every time a device reboot is made.

The Pangu Team has been successful in giving freedom to Apple users in installing applications unavailable on the official iOS App Store.

iOS 9.3.3 came into the fore when Luca Tedesco, a programming enthusiast, broke into his iOS device. It was then called iOS 9.1 jailbreak, with the name adapted from the iOS version the hack broke into. Apple has since made updates, but Tedesco and the Pangu Team were also working on a more sophisticated jailbreak each time.

The first beta test for iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak was launched in May 2016; and thereafter in June, opened the platform for users who would want to try 'perfecting' the iOS 9.3 - 9.3.3 jailbreak since iOS 10 has successfully patched up the 9.3.3 hack.

In July at a conference in Shanghai, China, the Pangu Team released a successful iOS 9.3.3 update jailbreaking into iOS devices.

While the Pangu Team already has the iOS 9.3.5 on beta, it is not recommended just yet because development is still in the works. For now, the most fool-proof jailbreak version is iOS 9.3.3.

If iOS 9.3.5 has been installed instead, the Pangu Team highly recommends that the user downgrades to an iOS 9.3.3.
