iOS 9.3 Jailbreak Release Date and Details about Apple's WWDC 2016 Live Stream

Days before the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), it is rumored the much-anticipated iOS 9.3 Jailbreak will be released, but it did not happen. Now, latest reports say the jailbreak could become available after the WWDC 2016, which kicks off on June 13.

As of now, there is no jailbreak tool for iOS 9.2 or above.  Several tech websites claim Team Pangu and Team Taig are now developing the iOS 9.3 jailbreak to release it soon as possible. However, the hacking groups reportedly encountered some technical issues which delayed the launching of jailbreak software.

On Friday, Redmond Pie reported Apple stopped signing iOS 9.3.1 firmware. This means the user can no longer downgrade to iOS 9.3.1 via iTunes. Also, the move forces users to install iOS 9.3.2 to restore their iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Industry experts claim the next jailbreak could be for iOS 9.3.1. So, for users who have Apple devices under iOS 9.3.1, they should not update their operating system until the new jailbreak tool becomes available. This is just to be on the safe side, as hackers can technically penetrate iOS 9.3.1 or above.

The iOS 9.3.1 was released to iPad and iPhone users at the end of March.  A month after that, Apple released iOS 9.3.2 update that brought minor bug fixes and performance enhancements. Given the fact that Apple's release of iOS 9.3.2 did not carry any major security improvements, hackers that are working on iOS 9.3.1 might also crack the iOS 9.3.2.

Meanwhile, Forbes revealed what would be the upcoming updates for the iOS system. Apple could provide an app for penetration numbers on TouchID for password entry, 3D Touch, multi-window capabilities. The numbers would be quite strong for 3D Touch and TouchID. The announcement of new features might happen on WWDC 2016.

Speaking of the WWDC, we previously gave report on how fans can watch the event live. Apple will air the WWDC 2016 live on its  official website starting 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET/ 5:00 p.m. GMT on June 13.  In addition, there is a specialized app for the event that will give updates on the happenings.

The Telegraph reported Apple is set to have two-hour presentation for the announcement of the latest version of iOS, the iOS 10. The company would also reveal OS X 10.12 on the tech conference.
