iOS 9.3 Release Date, Beta Features and Jailbreak Options Available

Jailbreaking iOS 9.2
Jailbreaking, an Apple pastime.  Pangu

For those that want to get in on the new version of iOS 9.3, this is possible, but only through some unconventional methods that will be explained later.  There are some features that you can enjoy on your iPhone now before iOS 9.3 gets released in the next few weeks.  As for when the jailbreak of iOS 9.3 will happen, this is something that many want to see, and it could be happening very soon.

According to BGR, one of the newest features of iOS 9.3 is Night Shift, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted by the iPhone's screen at night.  This will make operation of the iPhone at night much easier on the eyes, and it can be enjoyed right now.

Currently, Apple is trying to dominate the market for apps that can do Night Shift, but there is an application called FlexBright which can do something similar to the Night Shift.  FlexBright can adjust the color temperature of the iPhone's display depending on the time of day.

Of course, the big question that many want to know is when (or if) iOS 9.3 will receive a jailbreak?  Considering that it has been available in beta for potential developers for a while, this does give jailbreakers a "head-start" to attempt jailbreaking.

For those that aren't familiar with jailbreaking, it is when software restrictions imposed by Apple's own closed system of iOS are removed, permiting root access to the iOS file system and manager for downloading applications and other software not available on the App Store.

For over a month now, jailbreakers have been wondering when the process will be available for any iOS above 9.0.2.  For those that don't want to jailbreak, it is not recommended that you download later versions of iOS as iOS 9.1, 9.2, and 9.2.1 have not been jailbroken as yet, according to a recent article on Redmond Pie.

Jailbreakers are hoping that iOS 9.3 will be the one that will be broken, and this is possible.  Gotta Be Mobile reports that a video from qwertyoruiop has revealed jailbreak running on an earlier iOS 9.3 beta.  For some reason, these videos and reports of iOS 9.3 being jailbroken are surfacing, but the actual method of jailbreaking iOS 9.3 has not been revealed to the public.

At this point, the release date of the iOS 9.3 jailbreak is anyone's guess, and would have to take place  after iOS 9.3 gets released before it becomes official.  Some are saying that it will take place a few days before Apple's March 21 event, where it is slated to announce the iPad Air 3, iPhone 6C (or 5SE), Apple watch accessories, and possibly the new MacBook Air series for 2016.

As mentioned before, it is possible to download iOS 9.3 as a beta, but only with some tricky method.  Those that attempt this should probably know what they are doing, and that goes for jailbreaking an iDevice as well.
