News reports circulating online say Apple announced iPad Air 3 could be available on March 2016.  The latest iPad Air is being considered as the most powerful tablet of Apple. However, Ipad Mini 4 does not want to be left behind in terms of functionality.

According to Christian Today, iPad Air 3 sports an  9.7-inch display with a pseudo-4K resolution of 2334 x 3112 (401 ppi). The powerful tablet is expected to have 3D Touch technology for additional functionality and be even thinner than its predecessor. Moreover, it will have additional protection from dust and water.

Furthermore, the third generation of iPad is powered with Apple A9X processor and up to 4 GB of RAM. The new A9X chip could be 20 percent more powerful and 35 percent more power-efficient than iPad Air 2.

Other rumored features of iPad Air include 8-megapixel iSight camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter. For user's security, it will have Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Its storage options come in wide variety of choices: 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB configurations.

Despite having powerful and innovative features, the iPad Air 3 will be available on markets for affordable price of  $610, Tech Times published.

For the reason behind delayed iPad Air 3 release, market analysts said Apple probably wants to avoid buyer fatigue.

In addition, a report published in Alphr said the release of third-generation iPad Air could possibly create a problematic situation for Apple wherein they had too many new tablets for not enough buyers.

On other hand, iPad Mini 4 wants to compete against iPad Air 3 in terms of functionality and screen quality, which is critical as the tablet market has been flooded with a number of powerful devices.

Most gadgets lovers look at the quality of screen display or its readability in sunlight when choosing tablets.

The iPad Mini 4, which was release in early September, had "Best" rating in every aspect of user reviews, according to DisplayMate President Raymond Soneira.

In comparison to other tablets in the market, Mini 4 outlasts other products for color accuracy, contrast rating in high ambient light and lowest screen reflectance.

"If you need a large professional-grade tablet with very good to excellent image quality and accuracy, the iPad Pro delivers a top-tier professional display," Soneira said in a published report.
