LG's G5 boasts a radical reinvention of flagship Android smartphone. The Apple iPhone 6S Plus is one of the most talked-about smartphones at present. We've gathered all of the reliable information on the web to know which one is a better device in terms of specification, features and price.

Display and Design

LG G5 has anodized aluminum body.  Its modular design allows users to install difference kinds of accessories to the phone such as VR headset, camera and DAC for audio. Users can also upgrade certain components that are important to them or fit a certain need. This 5.3-inch phone only weighs 159 grams.

The Apple iPhone 6S Plus has a full metallic design, but it does not have modular design. The phone is slimmer and larger than the G5.  The latest Apple smartphone measures 158.20 x 77.90 x 7.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 192 grams.

LG G5 sports a Quad HD resolution with pixel count of 554 ppi. The iPhone 6S Plus sports full HD resolution that offers a pixel density of 401 ppi.

Processor, RAM and Storage

LG G5 is equipped with the latest chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 820.  The smartphone has also dual-core Kyro CPU of 2.15 GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM.  The internal storage of the device is at 32 GB. It comes with a microSD expansion slot to expand the storage by up to 200 GB.

The iPhone 6S Plus processing power comes from Apple's A9 chipset, partnered with dual-core 1.84 GHz Twister processor. Buyers have three options for the internal storage, 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. Compare to G5, the iPhone 6s does not have microSD card slot.

Camera, Software and Other Features

LG G5 boasts 16-MP (78-degree wide) and 8-MP 135-degree wide) rear camera that can record 4K resolution videos. Its camera technology also offers laser autofocus, OIS and LED flash. Because of G5's modular design, users can install the Cam Plus on the device. The add-on introduces DSLR-like features on the device.

For the camera technology of Apple iPhone 6s Plus, it boasts a 12-MP main camera and a 5-MP front shooter for selfies. It also comes with OIS, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash.

Price

As of now, LG has not yet announced the price of G5. Estimates show it will have the same price range as its predecessor, about $550+.

The iPhone 6S Plus is available in 16 GB ($749), 32 GB ($849) and 128 GB ($949) models.
