Apple has something big for its avid subscribers this year. The Cupertino-based company will release iPhone SE in March and three variants of iPhone 7 in September 2016. The information came from the ever-reliable KGI Securities' analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.  Now, here's all you need to know about the iPhone 7 and iPhone 5se release date, specs and rumors available on the web.

Ming-Chi Kuo, who earned a reputation as "the best Apple analyst", predicted that Apple will release three models of the iPhone 7 this year in addition to the much-awaited iPhone SE. The analyst from KGI Securities previously predicted the exact specifications of the MacBook Pro and the iPad Pro, months before the gadgets were released.

The three iPhone 7 models are 4.7-inch iPhone 7, 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus and a new premium model. Forbes reported the top-spec iPhone 7 is called "iPhone 7 Pro." The new line of Apple smartphones is expected to have groundbreaking camera technology.

Apple's iPhone series is known for its innovative development in the imaging department. Kuo stated the upcoming iPhone 7 Pro is equipped with cameras that have near-DSLR quality shots. The analyst added Apple's acquisition of Israeli camera technology company LinX last year helped to enhance the camera features of iPhone 7 Pro.

The LinX-developed camera has 2-3x optical zoom and can shot images in low-light environment. One of the notable innovations in the camera is its dual-lens technology, which significantly enhances image quality. Aside from that, Apple gets rid of the iPhone's infamous camera bulge.

The upcoming iPhone 7 Pro is thin as the latest iPod touch - between 6mm and 6.5mm thick. The current models of iPhone, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, are 6.9mm and 7.1mm thick respectively.

Furthermore, the next-generation of iPhone is expected to have more innovative hardware changes to persuade millions of gadget lovers to buy it.

Apple may also install a "panic button" function in the iPhone 7's Touch ID fingerprint sensor, based on the company's new patent that surfaced last year. The patent reveals the future Apple products could have a "panic button," which users would press in case of emergency.

As per Apple's autumn release cycle, the three iPhone 7 models will be released at an event in San Francisco in September, according to the Telegraph. Moreover, the devices will go on sale two weeks later.

We'll give more updates as Apple is reportedly ramping up its iPhone 7 production.
