Despite severe persecution and acts of terror from ISIS headlining the front pages, Christianity remains strong and is, in fact, a fast growing religion in Iran - one of the most hardline Islamic countries in the world today.

In a report from CBN, wherein the interviewees - Iranians visiting Kurdistan - have requested anonymity for their protection, former Muslims are revealing that many are coming to Jesus through supernatural dreams and visions. The dreams are giving them hope amidst the desperation and hardship facing many in the Islamic Republic today.

"Dennis," one such ex-Muslim who had converted to Christianity after having a dream about Jesus, admits that desperation in Iran is driving more people to run to Christ as the answer to their predicament.

"Yes, many people are coming to Christ through a dream. You cannot imagine how Jesus is appearing to them...You know the experience that the Iranian people are passing through right now is very difficult. The only one who can change that situation is Christ Himself," Dennis said.

Dennis' dream was a dramatic message that moved him to look to Jesus as a source of truth.

"In the dream, I still remember some marks on His face and that He was wearing a crown, a King's crown on His head. Very strong brightness came out of each part of His Body and many people were bowing down before Him...That dream became a turning point in my life."

Another convert who shared her story was a woman named "Abby".

"Suddenly, one of the nights when I was in my bed, I just dreamed, and the Light was speaking as I'm speaking to you now," Abby recalled. "It was speaking to me and calling my name verbally and saying 'Come to me. I will save you and I will rescue you.'"

"Abby" and her mother soon made a difficult decision - one that could cause them to be executed by the government or socially ostracized by their community.

"This year, about seven months ago, we made our decision to follow Jesus with all our hearts," she said.

This is not the first time that this puzzling supernatural phenomenon have occurred. Reports of  Muslims - from hardline Islamic countries across the globe - having dreams of Jesus have been growing in strength in the last five years.

God Reports is a privately maintained blog where a collection of first-hand experiences of ex-Muslims and their dreams about Jesus are meticulously detailed. Nabeel Qureshi's post describes how he had specifically asked God to give him three different dreams as proof, and how these prayers were carefully answered.

The phenomenon has only motivated the converts to share their faith even more. As for Dennis, he would like the flames of Christianity to take a deeper hold over Iran.

"Please pray and ask the others to pray for the people of Iran to experience the power of the Resurrection," Dennis said.
