Today kicks off Jeremy Lin's second Fan Appreciation Week, beginning with a Facebook photograph caption contest on Monday. Tuesday will feature a multiple choice quiz via Lin's Twitter account, and on Wednesday fans will get to post their best videos on Instagram for a shot at a prize. Thursday will feature a Q-and-A on Facebook and on Weibo, and Lin will host an art contest on Friday.

Jeremy Lin has been the talk of sports media quite a bit lately with his recent trade from the Houston Rockets to the Los Angeles Lakers. Many fans have shown support for Lin's new venture and are anticipating what he will bring to the purple and gold. The NBA guard says he wants to show his appreciation with a week of contests and prizes - "Because I have the best fans ever, I'm hoping to show my gratitude in a small way with my 2nd Fan Appreciation Week!!" he tweeted last night.

The contest will kick off with a photo caption contest today. Sometime this morning, Lin will post two photographs on his Facebook account, and fans can suggest captions for each for a chance to win an autographed Linsanity poster - "Post a funny/witty/serious caption in the comment section," Lin says.

Tuesday's winner will be the first to tweet ten correct multiple choice quiz answers to @JLin7, and will an autographed pair of shoes. The next two fans to get all ten answers right will receive signed t-shirts.
