Despite the controversy that almost ended their career as a reality TV family, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are still cheerfully carrying on and actively posting their activities on the family website, the latest having concluded a marriage retreat along with daughter Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald, HNGN reports.

The embattled patriarch and matriarch of the Duggar family have decided to push forward and are blatantly ignoring all media reports directed at the 19 Kids and Counting clan by posting cheery updates from their conservative Christian extended family.

Jim Bob and Michelle was recently at Fort Rock, in Saint Paul Arkansas at the Ozark National Forest. They were joined by Jessa and Ben Seewald at the retreat, which aimed to strengthen their relationships. The Christian camp and retreat center aims to provide precious bonding moments in the midst of nature in order to bring families closer together.

The Fort Rock website very proudly posted the endorsements from Jim Bob and Michelle. Meanwhile, Jessa and Ben posed for a photo, with Ben protectively enclosing his arms around Jessa's baby bump.

The marriage retreat no doubt taught on philosophies that echoed the Duggar matriarch's beliefs on marriage. Michelle had previously declared that "wives should always make themselves joyfully available" to their husbands' intimacy needs.

The statement seemed to be a subtle instruction to Anna Duggar's and how she should respond to straying husband Josh Duggar's antics.

Meanwhile Global News reports that Jim Bob and Michelle are still set to give a keynote speech at the the Alberta Home Education Convention in Red Deer in April of 2016. The association has made a decision to keep the Arkansas couple on their program despite the slew of misfortune that has befallen the family as of late.

Many believe that the Duggars are no longer a model family and have lost their credibility in championing the beliefs of conservative Christian Americans.

Since the media expose that revealed Josh Duggar as an ex child molester and steeped in adultery and pornography addiction, the eldest Duggar offspring immediately came clean and called himself "the biggest hypocrite ever." The revelations put an end to the 7-year long TLC reality hit TV show.

None of these have fazed the Alberta Home Education Association, and believe that the Duggars have much to share to the conference attendees about rearing and homeschooling children in the midst of highly challenging conditions.
