On Sunday, April 3, Joyful Noise Xpress (jNX) held their first english worship session in the Cubberley Community Center Auditorium in Palo Alto, CA. There were over a hundred participants coming from different cities all over California.

In the session, the music group screened two videos presenting their mission trips to India, Hong Kong and various parts of mainland China. The presentation on India displayed their 5-year mission trip that was recently completed, showing how God's work transcends all racial and language boundaries. The video showed sessions where jnX members gave worship classes to the local Indians and other group activities.

Anthony Chan, Director and Founder of jnX, shared their vision and the reflections about their mission trips. According to Anthony, the group wishes to encourage church-goers to have a passion for mission trips through this worship event.

The team members expressed that they measure their success on inspiring people to commit themselves to the work of God, not upon the support they receive from various churches.

"Whenever I think of what the Lord has accomplished through jnX, I can’t hold back my tears. But what grips me the most is not how much we have done but what has made it possible. We can make elaborate plans, but it is the faithful intercession of our prayer warriors and the generous giving of our donors that sustains our work. I may be an obvious representative for jnX and be easily acknowledged for what I do upfront and on stage, but it is the selfless commitment and collective efforts and hard work of our supporters, core team and board offstage – all volunteers and often unnoticed – that carry on the ministry," shares Anthony.
