At least four police cars pulled up pop star Justin Bieber for driving above the speed limit in Beverly Hills in his brand new Ferrari, a day before he was to perform at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

Reports by celebrity web site, TMZ said that Bieber's latest brush with authorities was courtesy of his speeding over the 25mph limit on a residential street in Beverly Hills. The report added that a fleet of at least four police cars pulled him over to give JB a ticket.

The report said Bieber took the ticket and went on his way after promising the cops he would take it easy on the gas pedal.

Justin has a history of vehicular issues with the cops. He received a reprimand after driving sports car around Calabasas, California residential community at top speed.  He was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and drag racing in Miami, Florida, in January 2014.

This was eventually settled several months later following a deal wherein JB agreed to pay $50,000 to a youth charity organization and pleading guilty to careless driving and resisting arrest charges.

As part of the plea bargain, Bieber has agreed to seek anger management counseling and attend a drink-driving program in return, prosecutors will drop the drunk driving charge against him.

Justin Explains Emotional VMA Performance

JB provided outstanding performance during the VMA singing his songs Where R U Now and What Do You Mean which brought him to tears. Bieber said the tears were caused by the overwhelming support he received from his performance after a brutal publicity from last year, reported the Independent.

Bieber received severe publicity backlash. He was heavily criticized for abandoning his country in another country and attacking a photographer.

The web site cited a source by Gossip Cop, "He didn't know how people would accept him. When he saw them on their feet cheering, he was overwhelmed. Last time he was on an award show he was booed. This time he was cheered for. It meant a lot to him."

Bieber also took to Twitter to thank his fans and supporters for the warm reception he received from his VMA performance.

"Thanks for always making me smile," he said on Twitter.
