Going into NFL's first round playoffs, the No. 2 AFC West team Chiefs have clinched the wild card, while Denver Broncos have clinched the division lead. In addition, Charles have caught 70 passes and put down 7 touchdowns.

Linebacker Derrick Johnson have led the Chiefs' defenses with 107 tackles, 12 assist and 4.5 sacks; Eric Berry added 74 tackles, 8 assists and 3.5 sacks. Kansas City's defense had been No. 1, but have backslide beginning Week 14 of the regular season.

The Colts are entering the first round playoffs with a 30-10 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is their second-consecutive year entering the playoffs. In their last three games, they have outscored opponents 78-20, which stands in stark contrast to the Chiefs, who have lost four of their last six - including a 23-7 loss to Colts last week.

Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck have led the team with 3,822 pass yards and 23 touchdowns at 570 attempts. While receiver T. Y. Hilton leads in 1,083 yards and 5 touchdowns at 82 catches, Luck have spread out the passes throughout the team. Running back Donald Brown leads in rush yards (537) and 6 touchdowns at 102 attempts; Trend Richardson leads added 458 yards and 3 touchdowns at 157 attempts.

Colts' defenses leaders include Linebacker Jerrell Freeman, who has 126 tackles, 43 assists and 5.5 sacks, linebacker Antoine Bethea, who has 110 tackles, 30 assists and 1 sacks. They have led Indianapolis to keeping the opponents' points down at 21 points a game, 9th in the league.

According to the teams' offensive and defensive comparison only, either team is likely to emerge as the winner. But according to the way both teams played, the Colts are expected to dominate the game and advance towards the 2nd round playoffs for the AFC division round on Saturday, Jan. 11, and Sunday, Jan. 12.
