Rob Kardashian of the popular "Keeping Up With the Kardashian" family seems to be making some positive life changes.

Rob, who is a sock designer, has struggled with depression and weight gain over the past several years. However, earlier this week the Kardashian brother tweeted inspirational and Biblical verses to his followers after cleaning up his feed and deleting numerous tweets.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. Psalm 33:12," Kardashian tweeted. "Lord Jesus, protect those who protect me - police, firefighters, and those in the military. Teach me to pray for them and to honor them for their service. Amen," he concluded.

Kardashian recently came under media scrutiny for failing to attend his older sister Kim's wedding to rapper Kanye West. He reportedly went to the pre-wedding celebrations held in Paris but "was not feeling like himself," thus skipping out on his sister's nuptials, People magazine reports.

However, some speculate that Kardashian missed the wedding due to disgust for the couple's frivolity.

"Rob said he was sickened by Kim and Kanye's display of wealth and clothes and beauty and called it 'superficial "...Kim was upset that Rob hadn't made an effort to drop any weight over the past few months," a source told X17.

"Rob basically thinks Kim cares about him only for his appearance and he said he'd 'make life easier' for her and just leave."

"He is really overweight and having a hard time with it."

While friends and family have expressed concern for Kardashian, they say are "rooting" for him.

"Friends at the wedding expressed serious concern for him," stated a friend. "When I saw him, it looked like something was very wrong. I'm not sure it's solely related to weight gain. His friends and family are rooting for him."

Kardashian has historically used social media to discuss his personal life. Following a messy breakup with a cheating girlfriend in 2012, Kardashian tweeted extensively concerning his pain, then deleting his Twitter account for a brief time. Shortly after reappearing on Twitter, Kardashian was the subject of online taunts for his noticeable weight gain.

Gunnar Peterson, a celebrity trainer, told TMZ that Kardashian texted him after returning from Paris and expressed desire to work out every day until the weight is gone. Peterson said he has worked out a grueling routine of full-body exercises, cardio and resistance training. Peterson continued to state that Kardashian didn't attend his sister's wedding because he felt "too fat" for family photographs and did not want to be embarrassed.

The Kardashian family has declined to comment on the matter.
