To promote her new sophomore album, Wrestling the Angels, and her first book, Water Into Wine, Cross Driven Records recording artist Kelly Minter gets more personal near the end of her fall promotional tour by going around the country to visit radio stations, media outlets, and ministries. Recently, her trip has taken her to 94 FM/The Fish’s neck of the woods. Not only did Minter fill the atmosphere with grace at the special women’s devotional luncheon, “Kim’s Kafe”, held at Michael W. Smith’s Rocketown Caf in Nashville, she spilled a lot of information regarding her new released projects during an interview that morning on The Fish Network’s morning show. The luncheon began at 11:00 AM and those who attending were required to reserve in advance.
Minter also performed with NewSong and Todd Agnew on the "More Life" tour. Minter’s Wrestling the Angels album was produced by Margaret Becker and Paul Buano, which showcases her organic-pop sound, which has been said to sound like Bebo Norman. Her new book, published by Waterbrook Press and Random House, will hit markets in spring 2004.
