It seems that Square Enix is in the final stage of finishing the much-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3. In a recent interview with game director Tai Yasue, he revealed more information about the game's new combat system. Now, here's the latest round-up of update about Kingdom Hearts 3 release date, gameplay and rumors on the web.

Ever since Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts 3 in E3 2013, many fans have been reading reports the game's development. However, creators remain tight-lipped about the full features of upcoming Disney-centric action-RPG title.

In an exclusive interview with GamesBeat, Yasue assured fans that the story of Kingdom Hearts 3 will be big and entertaining for all. He also said it's a game that "will be better if you understand all the other stories... but at the same time, you can enjoy it without following the whole arc." So far, Square Enix has released eight game in the franchise since Kingdom Hearts 2 in 2005.

In Kingdom Hearts 3, expect the moves will look flashier, but at the same time not too difficult to control for beginners. Yasue said they used the same command menu in the previous Kingdom Hearts titles to make the game familiar to old players.

When asked about what works best for the franchise as a whole, the game director stated the magical points system has "worked well." He added they don't want to do same thing in terms gameplay, so players can expect major changes in Kingdom Hearts 3.

The magic spells in the upcoming RPG game do not only explode. It lingers on afterward. For example, if players summon a Blizzard, it creates a place where they skate on the ground. This dynamic environment will definitely make the game more exciting, as per report from GameRant.

As illustrated in Kingdom Hearts 3 E3 2015 trailer, the Keyblade can transform into an even more powerful weapon, and it can cast magic rides inspired by Disney's theme parks. In addition, Disney announced last year that players will be able to ride the robot Baymax from Big Hero 6 movie.

As of now, Disney and Square Enix have not yet revealed the firm release date of Kingdom Hearts 3. But in an interview with Game Informer in 2014, Yasue said they have been working "full throttle" on the game. He also added the their progress was moving along well.

We expect more details about Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released in the next months to come.
