Now that the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James were able secure a win at the finals, the team is gaining even more attention. And, one of those eyeing the Cavs' star player is Rex Ryan, the head coach of the Buffalo Bills.

According to Ryan, James would make a good football player especially at the tight end position. Towering at 6-foot-8 and weighing 250 pounds, he is certainly a force to be reckon with on the court. And given the way he moves, Ryan strongly thinks that he'll do well in the NFL.

"I don't know a whole lot about [basketball]," he said according to ESPN. "But that big ol' rascal can come play tight end for the Buffalo Bills."

"I think it would work out well," the coach added. "You look at him. He's physical. Unbelievable. Look at the range. There's nobody that can cover him. There's no way you can cover him. Fast, physical. We'll give it a shot."

Ryan's last statement seems to imply that James is welcome to join the Bills in case his time with the NBA or the Cavs doesn't work out.

But, the idea of James playing professional football is nothing new. After all, when he was in high school, he played for the St. Vincent-St. Mary's football team and held the wide receiver position.

Mark Murphy, the safety for the Green Bay Packers, also considered James as a great receiver and even ranked him alongside Steve Largent, Jerry Rice and James Lofton.

Although the idea of James playing in a football jersey is a dream come true for fans of both the NBA and the NFL, CBS Boston pointed out he probably wouldn't fit will in the latter league. For one, James chose basketball for a reason. Monetary matters aside, the game of basketball suits him more, even though he has the physique to match up against the big players in the NFL.

In addition, the NFL is an aggressive contact sport, as opposed to the NBA where players are penalized just for accidental slapping and bumping. This wouldn't probably fly well with King James given his sensitivity when it comes to taking hits on the court.
