‘Lego Star Wars’ Games Season Pass and Deluxe Edition Release Date With Exclusive Player Characters and Vehicles

The Lego series of video games are ones that can be enjoyed by gamers of all ages, with the most recent offerings of Lego Jurassic World and Lego Avengers putting the player in a world full Lego scenes, full of things to build and colorful characters with special abilities.  Lego is returning to the world of Star Wars with Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  Like many other games, there will be a Season Pass as well as a Deluxe Edition, and each has some exclusive playable characters and vehicles. 

According to Gamespot, the Season Pass comes with three new Level Packs that will showcase the story of the game from different perspectives.  There will be a mission showing Poe Dameron traveling back to the Resistance base after he crashed on Jakku, where he searches for BB-8 and tries to escape the desert planet to get home (and re-unite with Finn later).  The Playable characters and vehicles include Naka Lit, Ohn Gos, Poe Dameron (in Jakku gear), Strus Clan Leader, Strus Clan Raider, Strus Clan Speeder (full-size) and Strus Clan Speeder (Microfighter). 

Then there is another level where the player is Kylo Ren during the attack on Maz Kanata's castle with the First Order Siege of Takodana.  Playable characters and vehicles include Jashco Phurus, Rosser Weno, Strono "Cookie" Tuggs, Thromba, Laparo, Jakku Freighter (Full-size), and Jakku Freighter (Microfighter). 

The last Level pack is the Escape from Starkiller base, from the perspective of two Resistance pilots, and the help of an astromech droid.  These three must leave the base, avoiding the First Order before the rebels blow up the headquarters.  The player characters and vehicles include C'ai Threnalli, Colonel Datoo, Lieutenant Rodinon, Lt Wright, R3-Z3, Assault Walker (full-size), and Assault Walker (Microfighter). 

Also available will be character packs, and the Jedi Character Pack will be available June 28, 2016.  It features some powerful members of the Jedi order, with exclusive characters and vehicles like Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, Luminara Unduli, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, Shaak Ti, Jedi Interceptor (Full-size), and Jedi Interceptor (Microfighter). 

Also soon to be available is the Prequel Trilogy Character Pack including Anakin Skywalker (Damaged), Captain Panaka, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, Jar Jar Binks, Padmé Naberrie, Watto, Zam Wesell, Naboo Starfighter (Full-size), and Naboo Starfighter (Microfighter). 

Then there is also the Freemaker Adventures Character Pack, which is spotlighting a cast of characters from an upcoming LEGO animated series that is debuting June 20th on Disney XD.  The playable characters and vehicles include Baash (Iktotchi), Graballa the Hutt, Kordi Freemaker, Naare, Raam (Iktotchi), Roger (Battle Droid), Rowan Freemaker, Zander Freemaker, Star Scavenger (Full-size), and Star Scavenger (Microfighter)

Also from another animated series is the Clone Wars Character Pack, which features Asajj Ventress, Aurra Sing, Barriss Offee, Cad Bane, Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Hondo Ohnaka, Savage Opress, Republic Gunship (Full-size), and Republic Gunship (Microfighter). 

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be coming on June 28 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and PC.  The game will ffeaturesome levels that do not focus on events in the movie, which you can read about here.  Not to mention some advice of how to beat that game, and any Lego video game. 

There will also be a Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Deluxe Edition for the Xbox One and PS4 that will sell for $70, and it comes with a base game and Season Pass content, not to mention an early access to the upcoming The Empire Strikes Back character pack.
