A new benchmark entry leaked a full specs list of the upcoming Lenovo Vibe X3.  MXPhone.net

A full specifications list of the upcoming Lenovo Vibe X3 has just been revealed, thanks to a leaked benchmark listing. It gives us an initial glimpse of what the device maker has in store for its next smartphone model.

The device has recently been given a listing in GFXBench, a site that publishes graphics benchmark database, and was first spotted by a Tech Gadgetsz. The leaked benchmark, which you can check out here, gives us a more extensive picture of how the handset will perform.

Back in February, the Lenovo Vibe X3 was already leaked by MXPhone.net along with a string of other models. However, it only provided limited details about the Vibe X2 successor.

We have not heard much about the unannounced Lenovo device since then. Now, this new information tells us that upcoming device will likely be Lenovo's flagship. Here's why: The Lenovo Vibe X3 will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor by Qualcomm, clocked at 1.8GHz. It is partnered with 3GB worth of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. Those who require more space can expand it using a microSD card.

The GFXBench listing tells us the model will sport a 5-inch IPS screen with 1920x1080 resolution. That is quite different from the earlier leak which suggested that it will have a larger 5.5-inch display with an FHD resolution.

The camera combo is comprised of a 20-megapixel main shooter with dual LED flash coupled with a 7MP front snapper. Its features list further include support for the usual connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, NFC, and 4G LTE.

We also know that the Lenovo Vibe X3 will be integrated with a fingerprint scanner. Previous reports also revealed that the handset will have dual front-facing speakers on the front, as depicted the image above.

The latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will be the default operating system layered with Lenovo's own Vibe UI. That means that when the company launches the device, users will be off the hook with updates until the rumored next-gen Android M OS arrives.

Judging from the impressive specs mentioned, the Lenovo Vibe X3 appears to be one of the device maker's upcoming flagships. However, the benchmark entry sheds no light on when it will be revealed. Since this is a follow-up to last year's Vibe X2, which is launched at the IFA 2014 event in September, it would be safe to be that Lenovo is also planning to unveil within the same time frame this year.
