LG is a company that has been really trying to get Android 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow) into the hands of its consumers.  Fortunately, the company has just announced their long-awaited LG G5 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 on Sunday.  This will come with Android 6.0, and here is the latest news on Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for LG G4, G3, V10, G Flex 2 on Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, US Cellular, and T-Mobile. 

According to Yahoo News, LG actually revealed the accessory of this product before it actually announced the LG G5.  However, it was pretty well-known that the LG G5 would be announced, and this is what is known as far as the specs are concerned. 

The LG G5 has an all metal body with a 5.3-inch display.  The display is what makes it really unique as it has an always-on  feature to keep the time on screen so users don't always have to turn it on constantly.  Another new feature is a slide-out battery, which means that users can just swap out batteries when plugging in the phone isn't an option on the go. 

One thing that makes the LG G5 is that it will have companion devices.  For example, there is a companion device that can turn the LG G5 into a high fidelity speaker. 

There is an LG CAM Plus that turns the G5 into a very powerful digital camera with physical buttons for power, shutter, record, zoom, and just getting a better grip overall.  The LG CAM Plus also boosts the phone's battery capacity.  The camera on its own is a 16 Megapixel for the rear and an 8 Megapixel on the front, with a 135-degree lens for wide-angle shots. 

As for what is inside the LG G5, it has a Snapdragon 820 processor.  The outside is available in gold, silver, pink, and gray.  So far there hasn't been any price or availability mentioned as yet. 

One thing that the LG G5 should have right out of the box is Android 6.0.  It would appear that the G5 is keeping up with the Android rollout, which has been going along steadily.  There hasn't really been much change since last week, but it sounds like both the LG G3 and the LG G4 are both getting their Android upgrades on Verizon, according to Android Police. 

There is a report from Pocket Lint saying that T-Mobile started pushing Marshmallow to the G4 on February 4^th, so T-Mobile users should also check to see fi the update is available if that is the case.  Tech Radar reports that the update is also rolling out to Sprint users, so you should check your LG device if you are a Sprint subscriber. 

In short, it looks like LG is leveling the playing field when it comes to rolling out the latest version of Android to its newest smartphones.  With this in mind, devices such as the V10, G Flex 2, and others should be receiving Android 6.0, if not already.
