Limbless Australian motivational speaker Nick Vujicic announced the news of his engagement to his long-time girlfriend Kanae, according to his Facebook fan page. He has also posted a picture of himself with his fiancs, which received thousands of congratulatory remarks from his fans.

Vujicic, 29, wrote, “The greatest blessing I’ve ever received after life, salvation, and a relationship with God: introducing Nick and Kanae engaged!!!” He also thanked everyone for their love, support, and prayers.

Having born into a Christian family, where his father was a pastor and mother a nurse, Vujicic said that he gained victory over his struggles throughout his journey, as well as the strength and passion he has for life can be credited to his faith in God. His family, friends and the many people he has encountered along the way have also encouraged him.

Since age 19, Vujicic started to travel around the around to encourage other people and bring them the gospel of Jesus through motivational speaking and sharing his testimony about how God changed his life and gave him a future and a hope. Until now, he has traveled to more than 25 countries in the world.

“I found the purpose of my existence, and also the purpose of my circumstance. There’s a purpose for why you’re in the fire.” Nick wholeheartedly believes that there is a purpose in each of the struggles we each encounter in our lives, and that our attitude towards those struggles, along with our faith and trust in the Lord can be the keys to overcoming the challenges we face.

Last year, Vujicic published the book “Life Without Limits”, in which he tells how he overcame his disability to live not just independently but a rich, fulfilling life, becoming a model for anyone seeking true happiness in Jesus Christ.

By using his own actions, Vujicic showed what it means to “never give up.” The news of his engagement must be yet another example of what it means that his life is truly without limits.
