The Clippers (3-2) have been averaging 124.3 points and shooting 50.6 percent from the field in their three-game winning streak. On Monday, Los Angeles defeated Houston 137-118, the highest point total since 2009, but lost 98-90 at Orlando on Wednesday.

"We win games, we score 100 or whatever points, that's always fool's gold," said Rivers, according to ESPN. "Our offense is always fool's gold. You've got to defend to win."

Clippers' Chris Paul has posted big numbers, finishing with 18 points and 10 assists in the game against Magic for his fifth straight double-double. On the other hand, Heat's LeBron James became the fifth player in NBA history to score double-digits in 500 consecutive games.

Tonight's game will feature the league's top players as they continue to set the tone for their team's journey to the playoffs.
