Standings

The LA Dodgers has a standing of 92 wins, 70 losses, and equal number of wins and losses in the last 10 games. On the other hand, the St. Louis Cardinals has a standing of 97 wins and 65 losses, and eight wins and two losses in the last ten games. It is also Cardinals third years making into the NLCS.

Pitchers' Duel

The Dodgers and Cardinals both have Cy Young Award pitchers as starter. Dodgers starters include Clayton Kershaw, Zach Greinke and Hyun Jin-Ryu.

The Cardinals starter line up feature Adam Wainwright and Michael Wacha, who both started during the NLDS, and Edward Mujica.

The series will most likely depend on which team pitches the most effectively. More specifically, it will be a matchup between Kershaw and Wainwright.
