Lakers vs. Wizards Nov. 26 Game Preview

Going into Tuesday's game, the Lakers are ranked 3rd in the Pacific Western Conference, and the Wizards are 4th in Southeast Eastern Conference.

Laker's center-forward Paul Gasol is leading the team with an average of 14.3 points per game and 10.6 rebounds. Meanwhile, their Tuesday's opponent Wizards is led by guard Bradley Beal, who is averaging 20.6 points per game so far this season.

However, Beal will miss at least two weeks with a stress injury to his proximal right fibula, an MRI on Monday confirmed the injury, according to USA Today. He will rest and rehab until then.

Point guard John Wall has performed exceptionally with 37 points in the 96-88 loss to Toronto on Friday and 31 in a 98-89 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday.

"The main thing with this team is the first quarter is big for us, especially on back-to-backs," Wall said, according to NBA.com. "Any game we want to play in this season, we need to start out with a good first quarter and a good third quarter. That's how you determine if you're going to have a chance to win it or have a chance to fight to the end."

The Lakers, on the other hand, are still playing without Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant, but they have won their last three games. In the 100-86 win against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, Xavier Henry scored 21 points off the bench and Gasol put in 20 more and 10 rebounds.

"We have to carry our momentum right now," Henry said, according to NBA.com. "Right now guys are playing hard. We're playing like we want it and when we have everybody playing that hard at one time, we're really good."
