MegaFest Youth Ministries Features Rapper Mr. Del at Conference Event

Mr. Del, one of the most dynamic Christian hip-hop artists, formerly of Three 6 Mafia, performed as a headliner at Mega Fest’s Youth Ministries Conference, Youth 3D Experience, on June 23, 2004 at 9 a.m.

“With this album [Holy South World Wide],” shares Mr. Del, “ I want to introduce the world to my ministry and music. Worldwide is going to let believers and non-believers know this music will be the next phenomenon.”

Mega Fest takes place June 23-26, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia and combines all of T.D. Jakes’ Ministries, including Woman, Thou Art Loosed (WTAL), ManPower conferences, and the Youth 3D Experience, a track geared for 13-19 year olds. Mega Fest features guest speakers such as Dr. Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Bishop Eddie Long, and Pastor Jamal Bryant (youth).

Mr. Del’s project, Holy South, releases June 29, 2004 to stores nationwide. This hot new album features the songs Take it to tha Streets and Talk about Love, which features Lisa Kimmey of Out of Eden. Mr. Del is the featured artist on Out of Eden’s 2004 CD release, along with being featured on EMI’s Holy Hip Hop compilation. As well as being a talented and respected rap artist, Mr. Del is also the pastor of Memphis Tennessee’s one and only hip-hop church, City of Refuge.
