The family of Michael Schumacher is still tight-lipped about the true health condition of the racer, but his manager Sabine Kehm revealed some details about the racer's condition. Now, here's the latest update about Formula One's legend Michael Schumacher.

In a media event at Lake Starnberg in Germany, Kehm spoke about Schumacher's plan before the horrible skiing accident in the French Alps. The racer said he wants to disappear from the public since his retirement four years ago.

"Once in a long discussion Michael said to me: 'You don't need to call me for the next year, I'm disappearing.' I think it was his secret dream to be able to do that someday," Kehm said in a report from Latin Post. However, the "dream" seems to be a prophetic one because the skiing accident caused him to disappear in the eyes of the public.

As of now, there is a continuous media blackout about Michael Schumacher's health condition. As a spokesperson and manager, Kehm is the only legitimate source of information.

Furthermore, former F1 president Luca Di Montezemolo said the racing champ's health condition is "not good." The former F1 president added that Schumacher is a fantastic driver and he had only one accident with Ferrari in 1999, where he broke his leg during the British Grand Prix.

It is reported that Michael's rehabilitation costs around US$150,000 weekly. Because of that huge amount of money, his family decided to sell some of his prized possessions. The racer is currently under the care of more than 15 medical experts 24/7  at his home on the shores of Lake Geneva.

German magazine Bunte published that Schumacher's wife Corinna sold their $37.2 million private jet when she thought the racer would never use it again. In addition, she sold off their holiday home in Norway knowing that her husband would never set foot on it again.

On December 29, 2013, Schumacher and his family are spending the holidays in the French Alps when the skiing accident happened. Michael was skiing with his friends and family when he hit his head on a slope.

Pope Francis himself also offered prayers for the faster recovery of Schumacher, reports from Express.co published.

The 47-year old German racer is recognized as one of the best racers in motoring sports. He won a total of 91 races from 1991 to 2006. He retired from racing in 2012.
