Now that Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are available on stores in the United States and Europe, the software giant's flagship devices could earn major profits for the company.

While the Lumia 550 is expected to be officially released on December 8. As of now, the phone is available for pre-order in some phone retailers, such as Carphone Warehouse.

The Microsoft Lumia 550 has been unveiled by the company on October alongside the high-end flagship smartphones, Lumia 950 and 950 XL. Some details about Lumia 550 were hidden, since the focus of the company is on the premium devices.

Nevertheless, here are the specs of Lumia 550: it has a 4.7-inch LCD screen with 720 by 1280 resolution and a pixel density of 314ppi. For its processing power, it sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable for up to 32 MB via microSD card.

Lumia 550's camera boasts 5-megapixel rear shooter and a 2-megapixel front snapper. One of the best features of the handset is it runs on Windows 10 Mobile operating system. Gadget lovers will also love its long-lasting battery, which is at 2100mAh power.

This latest low-end device from Microsoft is packed with amazing features and specifications fit for its price. If you are looking for an affordable phone, unlocked with free SIM, Lumia 550 is available for pre-order at Carphone Warehouse. The retail store is offering the phone for the price of $137. It is also available for installment options for as low as $11.42 per month.

On other hand, Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is available for $649. This phablet boasts a 20-megapixel camera with ZEISS F/1.9 lens, iris scanner, wireless charging, and more.
