The Timberwolves beat the two-time defending champion Miami Heat on Friday night in Miami 122-121 in double-overtime. Kevin Love scored 28 points and added 11 rebounds, while Chase Budinger added 24 points off the bench as the Wolves improved to 38-37 on the season.  

Looking to finish with a winning record for the first time in nine years, the Timberwolves will try to match their longest winning streak of the season at three Saturday night when they visit the last-place Orlando Magic.

Orlando Magic has dropped three straight and 12 of its last 14 games. Victor Oladipo finished with 21 points and Tobias Harris added 15 Friday, but Orlando (21-55) shot just 35.6 percent from the field on the way to a 91-80 loss at Charlotte.
