Sony Computer Entertainment revs up its marketing machine. As the arrival of MLB: The Show 16 comes closer, new details about the game surfaced over the internet. Now, here's the latest round up of update about MLB the Show release date, game modes and deals on all three versions.

According to an Amazon listing, the 2016 edition of MLB The Show will be released on March 29, 2016. Interested buyers can pre-order the game, which comes in three different versions. The base edition is priced at $59.99.

The MLB: The Show 16 MVP Edition is available for $69.99. The MVP package includes 5,000 Stubs, 1 Sponsor Pack, 31 PS4 Avatars and 1 Opening Day Pack. For those who want more, the premium package is The MLB: The Show 16 Digital Deluxe Edition, which costs $99.99. This package features 11,000 Stubs, 20 Standard Packs, a Sponsor Pack, 31 PS4 Avatars and 3 Opening Day Packs.

Among the new features players can experience is the ShowTime mechanic. By using this game feature, players can slow down time during critical moments of a game to make big hits and make excellent defensive plays more easily.

Additionally, there are many improvements in the 2016 version of Road to the Show mode. For example, there is a Scout Day to showcase player's individual skills in the scouts. A good performance means more opportunity to be drafted in talented teams. Furthermore, the improved Road to the Show mode gives players fuller experience as they go from minor leagues to Hall of Fame.

For new game modes, there is Battle Royale, where players have to draft their own team. This player-vs.-player mode gives players 25 rounds of draft to build a team that they think could last in a thrilling double-elimination online tournament. By winning games in the Battle Royale, players have an opportunity to get exclusive awards such as a Flashback Alex Rodriguez card and Legend card of Luis Tiant. The first entry in the mode is free with additional 1,500 stubs, as per report from Tech Times.

Another new game feature is the Conquest mode. This game mode tests single player's skill against Major League Baseball's 30 franchises in an attempt to conquer North America. One of the primary goals in the Conquest is to gain more fan base in different territories across the United States, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.

MLB The Show 16 will be released this March 29 exclusively on the PS3 and PS4.
