Dolphins vs. Buccaneers Monday Night Football Preview

Going into this week's match-up, Dolphins (4-4) is ranked 3rd in AFC Eastern Division. Meanwhile, Buccaneers (0-8) is ranked 4th in NFC Southern Division.

Dolphins' team leaders are quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has 11 touchdowns and 1,977 yards, running back Lamar Miller, who has 2 touchdowns and 448 yards, wide receiver Mike Wallace, who received 36 passes, 480 yards, and 1 touchdowns.

Buccaneers' leaders are quarterback Mike Glennon, who has 8 touchdowns and 1,165 yards, running back Dough Martin, who has carried 127, 456 yards, and 1 touchdown, and wide receiver Vincent Jackson, who has four touchdowns, 43 catches, and 634 yards.

According to NFL's Dolphins vs. Buccaneers' offensive and defensive comparisons, the two teams have a pretty even stats at first glance, but Dolphins outscore Tampa Bay in Points Per Game by 6 points on average and in two categories Total Yards Per Game and Passing Yards Per Game.

Prior to this game, Dolphins defeated the Cincinnati Bengals with a dramatic 22-20 overtime victory with Cameron Wake sacking Andy Dalton for a game winning safety. Wideout Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace remain a serious threat within the passing game and will be looking to exploit the weaknesses in a Tampa defense that ranks 15th against the pass.

Glennon is completing 60.3 percent of his throws and has eight touchdowns and three interceptions. Glennon pairs well with Vincent Jackson who is of size (6-5 and 240 pounds) and speed (4.4).

Overall speaking, Dolphins have the advantage over Buccaneers in Monday Night Football.
