To close the gaps, the Panthers must stop Brady quickly before he passes and closely guard Ridley as the main part of defensive strategy.

The Carolina Panthers are ranked 15th in Overall Points Per Game on average in offense. However, they are ranked No. 1 in defensive Total Yards Per Game Allowed on average, while the Patriots are ranked No. 20. With the league's second-best defense in points allowed, the Panthers must maintain a tight grip to stop Brady from scoring a plethora of points.

The Panthers started the season 1-3, but have trailed just behind New Orleans (8-2) for the NFC South lead. Third-year starting quarterback Cam Newton passed for 1,970 yards and 13 touchdowns and rushed for 266 yards and four TDs. While his stats are not eye-popping, he already has as many wins this season as he did in 2011, according to Boston Globe.

In Carolina's five-game win streak, Newton, who is playing in his third season, has passed for 1,085 yards and seven touchdowns. He's also completed 67.4 percent of his throws.  Running Back DeAngelo Williams has only 2 touchdowns with 565 rush yards, but the Panthers worked together as a team in scoring. Wide Receivers Steve Smith, Greg Olsen, Brandon LaFell and Ted Ginn have collectively put down a total of 11 touchdowns so far.

Comparing the offensive stats, the Patriots have an upper hand  in Total Yards, Passing Yards, and Rush Yards per game over the Panthers. However, the Panthers' players are in a high from their winning streak, so Newton is expected to continue to deliver at a high completion rate.

While Panthers' defense is ranked among the top in league, will they be able to stop Hall of Famer Tom Brady and the Patriots' offense? Stay tune for Monday Night Football Week 11 game to find out.
