The Canadiens did not let go easily to the Rangers' advances in Game 5. With the support of fans, the northern counterpart of Rangers won Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final on Tuesday. Midway through the second period, Rangers' goaltender Henrik Lundqvist was pulled after allowing four goals on 19 shots as Montreal build a 4-1 lead.

Again, the Rangers are one game short from eliminating the Canadiens and advancing to the Stanley Cup Final. In Game 3, Canadiens have limited Rangers' winning streak and won with 3-2 score. New York's No. 1 center, Derek Stepan, sustained a broken jaw from a hit by Montreal forward Brandon Prust, who received a two-game suspension for the play, according to NHL.com.

In Game 1, the Canadiens defense toppled after Price, their starting goaltender and team MVP, was injured from a collision with Rangers forward Chris Kreider. As a result, the Rangers took advantage and put in 7 goals against 2 by Montreal at the beginning of the Eastern Conference Finals.

And Price's replacement will be either Budaj, 31, or No. 1 AHL netminder, Dustin Tokarski, 24. According to New York Daily News, Budaj shut out the Rangers with 27 saves last October, but he surrendered three goals on eight shots in Game 2's third period.

The Canadiens came off an emotional second-round series win against the Presidents' Trophy-winning Boston Bruins in a 4-3 series. While they were not prepared for such a turn out from Game 1, the players have expressed their determination to not end up in a 2-0 hole.

"I think it's easier to bounce back after a loss like that than a heartbreaker," forward Max Pacioretty said, according to NHL.com. "So, obviously, you don't want to throw a game like that, but we know we're still a confident group. We've got to put that one behind us and not look back.

The Rangers, on the other hand, are still riding the momentum of overcoming a 3-1 deficit in their Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins. They will attempt to pull away from the Canadiens in Game 4.
