Mortal Kombat X's new downloadable content DLC is set for release this July which added Predator in its roster of characters. Fans of the street fighting video game also eagerly await the new play style included in the Mortal Kombat DLC.

The iconic movie monster Predator has infiltrated Mortal Kombat's Tower mode, said Shoryuken. The character is already available in the PC version of the game as one of the opponents.

These videos should give you an idea on how the Predator moves. Unfortunately, players cannot use the Predator as one of their characters. The videos should also provide players a preview of the unique tools each variation has. The Hunter style needs to concentrate on up close and personal offense using the claw accessory, while the Hish-Qu-Ten players will need to concentrate on m on the zoning capabilities afforded by the shoulder-mounted gun.

NetherRealm's Ed Boon also confirmed the appearance of the Predator as one of the characters in the Mortal Kombat X DLC. Boon wrote in his Twitter post, "Recreate the Predator Movie (Komplete with Carl Weathers Jax) in Mortal Kombat X. Koming Soon..."

Boon also posted a screenshot of Predator and Jax fighting against each other, with "July" watermarked at the bottom-right corner. The Twitter post also confirmed that some of the old characters in Mortal Kombat X will be getting alternate character skin. Carl Weatehrs Jax was shown wearing the same costume he wore from the original Predator movie.

Aside from the Predator, other characters who will make an appearance in the latest installment of the "Mortal Kombat" franchise are Jason Vorhees, Tanya, Tremor, reported Christian Today.  However, gamers have already been playing using Vorhees and Tanya so Tremor is expected to be the latest character to be included in the Mortal Kombat X DLC.

In a separate report, Gamespot said that Xbox user Sonicdude20th has uploaded several videos that show Predator and Carl Weather Jax taking on several challenges. Reddit user grassisalwayspurpler  also posted a compilation of screengrabs for Predator and Carl Weathers Jax that further excited fans of the game.

The Predator will be the third DLC character to be released for Mortal Kombat X. The Predator, Jason Voorhees and Tanya have been confirmed to be appearing together with Tremor and will be available as their own individual purchases, including the $30 Kombat Pack.
