Motorola is set to bring its super-budget-friendly phone to the United States next month. The Moto G4 Plus only costs $249.99, and it comes with impressive features. However, Asus is poised to challenge the G4 Plus with reliable specs at a fairly low price.

For interested buyers of Moto G4 Plus, Best Buy and B&H Photo are now offering $50 gift cards to their customers. CNET reported the smartphone will become available in the U.S. on July 12. It is also unlocked and can be used by all of the major carriers in the U.S. such as T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T and Verizon.

Moto G4 Plus sports 5.5-inch screen with 1,920x1,080-pixel-resolution HD display. Inside, it is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, backed up with 4GB of RAM. It also runs on Android 6.0.01 Marshmallow software. For its camera technology, it has 16-MP rear camera and 5-MP front-facing camera.

Moto G4 Plus with 16 GB internal storage is priced at $249, while the 32 GB model costs $299.

The smartphone is available in different color options like Dark Moon and Metallic Silver. Buyers can also customize the device's startup greeting message, accent and engraving on rear panel through MotoMaker customization tool.

Furthermore, Moto G4 Plus has budget-friendly variant called Moto G4. Its 16 GB model costs $199, while the 32 GB model is available for only $229.

Now, let's check out if the Asus ZenFone 3 can outlast the Moto G4. The low-end model of ZenFone 3 has slim body that fits perfectly to user's hand. It sports 5.5-inch LCD display which is readable even under sunlight. Under the hood, it is fueled by Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB of RAM. It also comes with 32GB of internal memory.

Furthermore, the standard ZenFone 3 has mid-range camera features. It has 16-MP rear camera and 8-MP front-facing camera. Its front-facing camera has more megapixels than the Moto G4 Plus.

The price of standard ZenFone 3 is the same with 32 GB model of Moto G4 Plus. Both are available for $249.

For those who want more, there's an upgraded version of ZenFone 3 called Zenfone 3 Deluxe. This model boasts a whopping 23-megapixel camera. It also comes with ASUS TriTech autofocus system, which can clearly shoot moving objects at a rate of 0.03 seconds. In addition, it has a big 5.7-inch Full HD screen.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has $499 price tag.
