The Media Evangelism organization (TME) is collaborating with three Chinese churches in San Francisco Bay Area in order to premiere their new movie, "New Born," as a way to share the message of the gospel in a different form.

On Sunday, Sept 18, the Chinese Independent Baptist Church (CIBC), one church on the itinerary, in Oakland, California has expressed their gratitude for taking part in this form of evangelism and will promote the movie through their congregation.

After the movie is shown, Pastor Evans Kwok, who leads the Cantonese EDM, an evangelism committee which focuses on bringing in brothers and sisters and training them to teach the Good News at CIBC, said that he will give a brief message while incorporating his testimony, and making a "call to response," which will ask the audience whether they want to make the decision to follow Christ.

The purpose of the movie is to share the message that "Life is valuable in God's eyes, so we should treasure it," Pastor Kwok said.

Pastor Kwok also said that taking part in this media outreach has provided their church with a new way to approach the gospel by allowing the congregation to hear the gospel in a new and innovative way.

Although "The message hasn't changed," Pastor Kwok said, "but it can be shown in different varieties so that it can reach different people."

The Cantonese EDM evangelizes locally and plans outreach events for the community. They visit senior homes, organize mission conferences, and provide training for street evangelism in order to follow the gospel through serving.
