''Narnia'' Director Confirms Second Film in the Making

Spokesman for the highly anticipated multi-million dollar budgeted film, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, announced to a wide audience attending the Pulp Culture Expo in Wellington the making of another follow-up of the “Narnia” films.

It was confirmed by New Zealand director, Andrew Adamson, that the writer is creating a script for Prince Caspian, the fourth Narnia novel written by the late famed Chrisitan novelist, C.S. Lewis.

The idea came in July when president Mark Zoradi of Buena Vista International, Disney’s foreign distributor, thought that it was an ideal time to begin work on the next screenplay of the “Narnia” series. Although plans for the actual filming of the project have still yet to be decided, the possibility looks hopeful.

In actuality, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe is the second novel among the seven that C.S. Lewis wrote. Initially, Disney decided to film the second novel due to its well-known plot in the literary world.

Currently, according to production reports, the progress of Disney’s and Walden’s project boasts a $150 million to $230 million-dollar budget, the largest ever to hit Auckland, New Zealand. The filming will end this month and shift towards South Island and the Czech Republic before the scheduled release next year.
