'NBA 2K16' vs. 'Madden 16' Vs. 'FIFA 16' Review: Top Three Sports Game of The Year

NBA 2K16 is pretty much the BEST VIDEO GAME OF ALL-TIME

Sports video games have been big this year. Different titles came out, and each one is loaded with exciting gameplays. To know who the best is, Bleacher Report ranked the games from worst to best. Now, we'll give the contents and reviews of the top three best sports game of the year.

Let's start with Madden NFL 16. The game came out at a time when the game series was slowly getting picked apart. However, the developer EA Sports found a way to improve the franchise. The quality of playing in the simulated American football is quite different gaming experience.

One of the best improvements of the game is its core gameplay mechanics. It has been a huge change that turns the annual football franchise into more of a simulation than ever before. Moreover, the updates in throwing and receiving make the game refreshing.

Furthermore, defense comes alive in Madden 16.  The passing game is also realistic. Receivers have new tools. It now allows players to catch the ball exactly how they want, depending on the situation.

On top of the additions, quarterback players received a few new moves. QB players can now attempt a touchdown by double pressing the receiver's icon.

In a review from IGN, it says Madden NFL 16 changes the way gamers play the football simulation.  The risk vs. reward aspect of the passing and defending system adds a new level of realism to the game series. The game received 8.8/10 score from the website.

On the other hand, EA Sport's FIFA franchise ranked top two on 2015 best sports games. The soccer simulation game has been running for 10 years. With the launching of FIFA 16, game developers want to keep the series alive.

Apart from the changes to players' relative speeds - all but killing off the through-ball as a cheap source of chances - the biggest update has been to passing, one that represents a more dramatic shift to midfield play than players have seen in a fair few years.

There are also various kinds of passes to choose from such as old, garden-variety button-tap and the Pass with Purpose --essentially finesse pass.

Moreover, the biggest upgrade in FIFA 2016 is the addition of the women's national teams. Getting to compete with a new crop of players is something that was surprisingly needed.

FIFA 16 got 3/5 from EuroGamer Review.

NBA 2k16  got the top-spot of this year's best sports game.

NBA 2K16 is what all sports games should aspire to be. The game offers some exciting modes to use like single player, multiplayer, cooperative, offline, and online experiences.  Moreover, the game does it in a way that simultaneously respects core basketball aficionados and casual hoops fans.

Visual Concepts' NBA 2k16 got 9/10 score from IGN and 4.5/6 from GameSpot.
