The NBA trade talks have been gaining steam before the deadline especially since a number of players, such as Jimmy Butler, Carmelo Anthony and Paul George, are said to be available to negotiate. Among the basketball teams anticipated to announce a huge change this season is the Boston Celtics. To be specific, many believe that Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart just might see a Rajon Rondo contract signed, sealed and delivered in their midst soon.

The Chicago Bulls initially looked promising following their move to ship Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah out to the New York Knicks. To fill the gap, Jimmy Butler was given veterans Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo to complete the Big 3. With the three alphas playing, the Nikola Mirotic team appeared to be full of potential. Mid-season, however, the plan seemed to have fallen apart. Now, rumors are rife that the Chicago Bulls are aiming to get rid of the Rajon Rondo contract as soon as possible.

Even during the Derrick Rose era, the Chicago Bulls had been struggling with working as a cohesive team despite the influx of talent in their team. At this point, it looks like the Taj Gibson squad once again needs to make a decision - should they let go of the Rajon Rondo contract to work on the Dwyane Wade-Jimmy Butler chemistry?

Meanwhile, NBA trade talks are getting more exciting since the Boston Celtics seem to be gearing up for a major move. With the social media posts from Isaiah Thomas, fans feel that a huge announcement is up soon. Will this be a Rajon Rondo contract?

When drama ensued in the Chicago Bulls courtesy of Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler, fans noted that Rajon Rondo cited his experience with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in the Boston Celtics as a more favorable way of leading a team. While no official confirmation has been given by the parties concerned, a number of fans think that the Isaiah Thomas team might push for the veteran star to give the team a stronger and more experienced leader.

"I feel so comfortable with him and I think all the young guys do," shared Nikola Mirotic of Rajon Rondo. "He's very honest. He's talking all the time, supporting before the game, after the game, during the practice. He's always positive. Even if something is not going well, he's trying to help young players. It's been great to have him here."
