DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings has certainly been a dominating force with Team USA at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. This is primarily why he might get recruited by either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Chicago Bulls.

As noted by The Bit Bag, ever since the Olympics kicked off, Cousins has successfully shown why he's on the U.S. team. During the first 15 minutes of Team USA's first game, he was able to easily collect 17 points and five rebounds.

Due to his performance, a lot of analysts believe he has what it takes to join next season's top title contender the Cavaliers. With the Cleveland organization, Cousins can serve as a more effective center than the team's current starter Tristan Thompson. At 6'11'' and weighing 270 pounds, Cousins is certainly more imposing that Thompson and as seen in his previous games with the Kings, he knows how to use his size to boost his team's offensive and defensive plays.

Pairing the center with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving can also make the Cavs next year's super-team. The trio will certainly be able to dominate in the paint with Cousins providing effective screening on his opponents. Doing so could pave a clear path to the basket for Irving or James.

But aside from the Cavs, the Bulls are also emerging as a likely landing spot for Cousins. During the offseason, the Chicago franchise had a lot of ups-and-downs. But, even though they lost a few key players, such as Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah, this gave the team to rebuild an even stronger roster, according to Hoops Habit.

Through trades and free agency, the Bulls were able to recruit the likes of Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo and Dwayne Wade. Even with these guys on the lineup, Chicago could go a step further in boosting its roster by going after Cousins.

Like the scenario with the Cavs, Cousins can utilize his center position with the Bulls to give Wade, Rondo and Butler the adequate space on the court to land their shots.

Either way, whether Cousins decides to join the Cavs or the Bulls, the transition will definitely be good for him. As confirmed in previous reports, he's pretty miserable with the Kings due to his feud with certain members of the organization. Going to a drama-free environment will certainly be good for him and could even help improve his performance.
