The Chicago Bulls are looking into rebuilding their roster following the exit of their core members Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah to the New York Knicks as well as Pau Gasol to the San Antonio Spurs. With the entry of veteran stars Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade to back up Jimmy Butler in the leadership role, it looks like it is time for a Taj Gibson trade to happen. At this point, the Chicago Bulls are scouring the league for new members to replace the 31-year-old power forward.

The relationship between the Chicago Bulls and Taj Gibson has started to deteriorate early on in the 2015-16 NBA season. Initially pegged as contenders to beat LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Jimmy Butler team shocked the basketball community when they missed the playoffs. Hence, a mass exit immediately followed what could only be described as possibly the most disappointing season for the Chicago Bulls.

The Taj Gibson trade rumors came soon after the issues on and off the court involving new head coach Fred Hoiberg eventually led to losses in the games. As veterans, Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Pau Gasol and Taj Gibson had no patience for the errors committed by their new guide - an attitude that reportedly led to the exodus in the roster. With most of his veteran teammates gone from the Chicago Bulls list, a Taj Gibson trade appears to be the most logical move at this point.

Moreover, it looks like Fred Hoiberg is already over the drama of the past as he looks forward to the effects of signing stars like Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo to boost the Jimmy Butler team.

"The biggest thing is we have multiple playmakers now, we have guys who can get in and break down the defense," shared Fred Hoiberg of the changes made to the roster. The Chicago Bulls head coach added, "That's the most important thing to have on an NBA roster is multiple ballhandlers, multiple playmakers. Bigs who are gonna set screens and put pressure on the rim."

He further explained of the rotations, "It's gonna take sacrifice. When you have guys who can put up big numbers every night, there's gonna be sacrifice involved and guys will have to buy into their roles. It may not be your night every time you take the floor. But if everybody buys in, we have a chance to do a lot of good things this year."

A Taj Gibson trade remains an NBA rumor, though, as the parties involved have yet to officially comment on the matter. Right now, the Chicago Bulls are celebrating the Rio Olympics 2016 success of teammate Jimmy Butler. As for Taj Gibson, the veteran has yet to openly ask for a trade as what was done by former teammates Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol.
