The Cleveland Cavaliers are filled to the brim with veteran stars who can take on the lead role in the off chance that LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are absent in games. While this makes for a promising team, the NBA champions still need to sign younger stars to serve as the next generation of leaders in the JR Smith squad. Hence, it comes as no surprise that a Karl-Anthony Towns trade is said to be confirmed by the Cleveland Cavaliers front office.

The young Minnesota Timberwolves star is slated as the prodigy of Kevin Garnett. However, it looks like the 2015 NBA draft pick will be the next LeBron James instead. With his fierce determination and passion for the game, a lot of fans see Karl-Anthony Towns as the next King James in the NBA. Does that mean he is moving to the Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason?

At this point, the NBA community is divided in hailing who is the king of the hardwood court. However, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is definitely on top of the list of potential league leaders alongside Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant - both from the Golden State Warriors. As the number one rookie from his draft class, analysts believe that Karl-Anthony Towns has the capacity to become the next Kobe Bryant, LeBron James or even Michael Jordan of his generation. Will he achieve that under the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise?

"I honestly do," shared Karl-Anthony Towns when asked if he thinks he can be the best in the NBA. The Minnesota Timberwolves star added, "I have the confidence in myself. I have everything I think to do it. Now it's all up to me, to execute."

While this might indicate that Karl-Anthony Towns is set to bolt from the Minnesota Timberwolves , it looks like the praises he received for his talent only fueled his push the Zach LaVine squad to the finals. According to the rookie, who beat D'Angelo Russell, Kristaps Porzingis and Jahlil Okafor in draft night, the Andrew Wiggins squad can become the best in the NBA.

He said, "Everyone in the NBA has the ability to do that. We all have the ability to be the best player in the world. Just matters who puts more time and puts more work in and who's more fortunate enough to make it happen with the right situation. I feel that Minnesota right now gives me one of the best situations in all of the NBA."

What do you think? Is it right for Karl-Anthony Towns to stay with the Minnesota Timberwolves? Or should he take advantage of his momentum and sign with an NBA team that can give him the best platform to get a championship ring? Should LeBron James step in and mentor the second-year star?
