The Cleveland Cavaliers are sitting comfortably at the top of the Eastern Conference. While Isaiah Thomas' Boston Celtics, the Washington Wizards of John Wall and DeMar DeRozan's Toronto Raptors are no doubt fierce competitors, the LeBron James crew feel no threat getting in the NBA playoffs as the top seed. However, many believe that the team is actually worried over potential Kevin Love injury problems or worse - LeBron James and Kyrie Irving off the court. Will a Paul George contract to the Tristan Thompson team be a good idea especially during nights without their Big 3?

The Golden State Warriors made the tactical error of overworking Kevin Durant with Russell Westbrook's former teammate now in danger of sitting out the NBA playoffs. Known to complete the super team of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, KD is anticipated to be fast-tracking his recovery to get back on the saddle. For the Cleveland Cavaliers, this latest concern from the Golden State Warriors could mean great news for their NBA championship defense.

Rumors are rife, however, that the Cleveland Cavaliers are still working hard to control every possible scenario soon. With the injury problems and roster rotation in mind, the LeBron James team is reportedly mulling over a massive Paul George contract to finally complete their own super team. While the Indiana Pacers star remains with his team this season, his free agency campaign is just around the corner. At this point though, no official confirmation has been given by the parties tagged in this NBA rumor.

Sources claim that a Paul George contract with the Indiana Pacers could only remain a possibility if the NBA team manages to turn itself into a championship contender. At the moment, the Thaddeus Young squad sits comfortably on top of the Milwaukee Bucks of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Detroit Pistons of Jeremy Lin. However, they are nowhere near the potential of the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA playoffs.

"We've got to learn how to playing with one another," shared Paul George earlier about the team. "You don't have to like somebody or like something, but you've got to learn how to work together and learn how to play together. I'm not saying that's the case in this locker room, but that's how we've got to approach it. Everybody's got to like playing with one another on that court. It should show. Chemistry should definitely come out of that."

What do you think? Should the Cleveland Cavaliers try for a Paul George contract? Will LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love be better off with the Indiana Pacers star in their roster?
