With this move, KD can become more at ease presumably because of another Oklahoma City Thunder star signing with the Golden State Warriors.

The moment the Kevin Durant free agency ended in the Golden State Warriors was the same time the NBA All-Star lost a number of supporters and even reportedly had Russell Westbrook "pissed" at his move. However, it looks like Dion Waiters does not join the Oklahoma City Thunder fans in their hatred for KD. In fact, Waiters even appears to support Durant's move as he is said to be on his way to the Golden State Warriors locker room as well.

The rumors of a Dion Waiters trade surfaced following the decision of the Oklahoma City Thunder to rescind his qualifying offer of $6.7 million. This move, which shocked the likes of Steven Adams and probably even Dion Waiters himself, was made in an effort to keep Russell Westbrook who is set to become a free agent in 2017. That is, the Oklahoma City Thunder are looking into ways to lock in Westbrook in the next years to come.

Hence, the Oklahoma City Thunder opted to risk losing Dion Waiters to clear the cap space. While they own the Bird Rights of the guard, rumors are rife that a number of NBA teams have expressed interest in signing the free agent. One of the potential landing spots for Waiters is the Golden State Warriors roster.

At the moment, no official confirmation has been give by any of the parties involved. The Golden State Warriors stars right now are enjoying the offseason. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant still received support from friends like Los Angeles Clippers star DeAndre Jordan.

"I'm happy for him," said DeAndre Jordan who was also the subject of criticisms during his own free agency season. The Los Angeles Clippers center added, "He gave those guys [in Oklahoma City] nine great years of MVP-level basketball, a Finals appearance. He played his heart out for that team. If they can't respect that, if other players can't respect it, that's their decision. At the end of the day, he's happy and that's the only person he has to satisfy."

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors stars are still in awe of their lineup next NBA season. Klay Thompson, the other half of the widely known Splash Brothers with Stephen Curry, shared that he could not believe his team now has KD with them.

"I still won't believe it until he puts on the uniform and we share the same court together," admitted Klay Thompson of Kevin Durant. He added, "It's unbelievable. The best part about KD is that he's so grounded. He just really wants to get better."
